Despite being founded in 1937, the company Lansing Bagnall didn’t really get going until 1949 due to World War II, England’s big freeze of 1947 and the cancelling of all building licences by the government in the same year. By this stage original owner Mr W G Bagnall wasn’t the owner anymore. Once production was in full swing the company manufactured pallet trucks and large forklifts. In 1989 Lancing Bagnall was sold to German manufacturer Linde.
