FORDSON

The tractor division for Henry Ford & Son Inc., the Fordson was a wildly popular tractor from roughly 1917 to 1925. It was reliable and affordable to the common man, much like the company’s automobile flagship vehicle of the time, the Model T, and enjoyed a 70% share of the American market in its prime. The Fordson name was dropped in 1964, and all tractors manufactured after this time were simply badged ‘Ford’. However, in 1991 Ford sold its tractor division to Fiat.
